Abstract
A variant numerical simulation of the natural gas displacement with CO2 was carried out by using a corm simulator. The injection of CO2 into depleted gas reservoir was modeled for 2 cases differing in reservoir pressure and for 3 injection rates. The efficiency of its geol. sequestration increased with increasing rate of CO2 injection. The degree of gas depletion increased with decreasing the fraction value of the injected CO2 stream in relation to the MeH stream.
