Abstract
The period of solidification was examined in this article via numerical modeling. The method for simulation is Galerkin technique and homogenous model was combined with assumption of negligible impact of liquid phase. Augmenting conduction with loading nanoparticles has been utilized as a technique for reducing the period of process. Modeling procedure was validated based on previous publication. Different concentrations of nano-powders have been utilized in this study. The period of discharging for m = 8.6 is 1.12 and 1.07 times superior than that of m = 4.8 when ϕ = 0.02 and 0.04. Loading nanoparticles with greatest levels of parameters leads to 26.79 % reduction in freeing time. The minimum time of solidification is 2025.51 s which can occur when both factors are maximum.
