Abstract
Magnetic and Magnetocaloric (MC) properties of the La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 (L2/3S1/3MO) nanoparticles have been examined using magnetization measurements and Monte Carlo Simulations (MCS). Good accordance between both measured and calculated results have been obtained. The sensitivity of the magnetic and MC properties to the nanoparticle size, temperature, and external magnetic field is discussed. From the theoretical point of view, the Curie temperature (TC) has been obtained close to 360 K for the length size L ≥ 20, with fourth nearest neighbors. The maximum entropy (ΔSmmax) and relative cooling power (RCP) have been computed and their dependence on the applied magnetic field have been established and found in accordance with the experiment data as well.
