Abstract

2-Cyanomethylbenzothiazole ( 1 ) was utilized for the synthesis of several new 2- heteryl benzothiazole derivatives as pyrazolyl, thienyl, pyridyl, benzoimidazolyl, and benzothiazolyl derivatives.
