Abstract
Entanglement and non-Gaussianity are investigated in cavity QED containing a high optical nonlinear medium and a quantum well. It is shown that the dynamical behavior of the entanglement and the non-classicality are very sensitive to the initial state and the optical nonlinearities. By filling the cavity with the optical nonlinear medium, the non-Gaussianity as well as the light-matter entanglement is enhanced. For certain parameter sets, it is possible to control the degree and the dynamics of these quantum effects.
