A simple one-pot method has been proposed for a series of novel [1,2,4]triazolo[5,1-e][1,4,2]di-azaphosphole derivatives by three-component condensation of the corresponding acid chlorides, triethyl phosphite, and 5-amino-1,2,4-triazoles. The isolated compounds were investigated for their antimicrobial activities, and 6-(4-chlorophenyl)-substituted derivatives showed good antimicrobial properties.
