We describe herein the synthesis of novel 6,12-distributed chrysene as potent anticancer agents. In vitro and in vivo studies are also reported here. We have synthesized a few new derivatives derived from chrysene. Structure–activity studies have identified compounds with anticancer activities in vitro and also in vivo. [Display omitted]
