Abstract
The present investigation is made to examine the impact of porous medium on peristaltic flow in a curved channel. The problem formulation has been developed for peristalsis of MHD Jeffery nanofluid. The porosity medium impact is captured by suggesting modified Darcy's law. The severity of gravity has been encountered in terms of mixed convection. Combined effects of heat and mass transfer are considered. The present investigation also involves thermal radiation and chemical reaction. In addition the curved channel walls are taken compliant. The slip effects at the boundaries are retained during flow analysis. Inertial effects are made absent via small Reynolds number and large wavelength concepts. The resulting coupled and nonlinear system is solved numerically. Graphical illustrations of velocity, temperature, volume fraction of nanoparticles and heat transfer are presented. The outcomes of this study reveal the activation of velocity and temperature with larger slip and Darcy number and reduction in nanoparticle volume fraction with advancement in slip effect.
