Abstract
Here entropy generation effectiveness in hydromagnetic flow of viscous fluid by permeable rotating disk is examined. Partial slip effect is studied. Formulation is based on mixed convection and nonlinear radiation. A new chemically reacted species model featuring activation energy is taken into account. Entropy analysis is elaborated employing thermodynamic second relation. The Von-Kármán approach is utilized for non-dimensionalization process. Shooting scheme is implemented for the computations of solutions. The characteristics of magnetic and slip parameters, thermal and solutal buoyancy variables, Prandtl number, temperature difference parameter, radiative parameter, dimensionless reaction rate, activation energy factors, heat generation/absorption factor and Schmidt number are discussed for concentration, velocity and thermal fields. Surface drag forces, heat/mass transfer rates, entropy generation rate and Bejan number are addressed.
