Adomian’s decomposition method is proposed to approximate the solutions of the nonlinear damped generalized regularized long-wave (DGRLW) equation with a variable coefficient. The solution of the nonlinear DGRLW equation is calculated in the form of series with computable components. Numerical examples are tested to illustrate the proposed scheme. Moreover, the approximate solution is compared with the exact solution.
