Abstract
In this paper. we introduce the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy prime (resp. strongly prime and semiprime) bi-ideals of a semigroup. By using these ideas we characterize those semigroups for which each intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideal is semiprime and strongly prime.
