Abstract

Cycles and chaos Delay Duopoly model Gradient dynamics Nash equilibrium
Delayed duopoly model with gradient dynamics is considered. Linear stability constraints are derived. It is shown that delay increases stability. Hence firms using duopoly model with gradient method in optimized theory with delay has a higher chance of reaching Nash equilibrium. Cycles and chaos regions are determined.
