Let R be a prime ring with characteristic different from 2 and m,n,k be fixed positive integers. In this paper we study the case when R admits a generalized derivation F with associated derivation D such that (i)<m=(F(x degrees y))n, for all x,y is an element of I, where I is a non-zero ideal of R. Moreover, we also examine the case when R is a semiprime ring.
