In this paper, we provide a specific construction of raising and lowering operators for orthogonal quasi-monomial polynomials associated with Cauchy-Stieltjes Kernel (CSK) families. Using these operators we characterize the quadratic class of CSK families. We also give some examples of such operators associated to orthogonal polynomials.
