Abstract
We generalize the notion of large submodules by introducing what we call a quasi-large submodule. Here, we examine two notions closely related to quasi-large submodules; namely, the notions of HT-modules and that of essentially finitely indecomposable modules. The basic properties of these concepts and their interrelationships are explored, and are further related to the notions of closed modules.
