In this paper, we give explicit formulas of the solutions of the system of max-type difference equations x(n+1) = max {x(n-1),x(n)y(n-1)/y(n-2)}, y(n+1) = max {y(n-1), y(n)x(n-1)/x(n-2)}, where n >= 0 and the initial values are positive real numbers.
