Abstract
For simultaneous wireless information and power transfer in the multi-input single-output broadcast channel, we propose a probabilistic robust beamforming scheme which minimizes the outage probability of the information receiver subject to the probabilistic energy harvesting constraint where the channel uncertainties are modeled as Gaussian random variables. Expressing the optimization problem by Marcum's Q-functions, we obtain the optimal closed-form beamforming solution. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the worst-case robust beamforming scheme.
