The energy levels structure of two interacting electrons in a parabolic quantum dot under an external magnetic field of arbitrary strength is studied via the asymptotic iteration method. The method gives accurate results over the full range of quantum dot parameters. A crossings between spin-singlet and spin-triplet ground states energies as a function of the magnetic field is predicted.
