Organic Lead in Street Dusts

Journal of Environmental Science and Health Part A: Environmental Science and Engineering, Vol.11(6), pp.417-417

Abstract

The organolead content of street dust samples from Lancaster, U.K., is determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, after extraction into cold ammoniacal and addition of iodine. Concentrations of organic lead in the dusts are in all cases at least two orders of magnitude less than the inorganic lead content is.
