Abstract
The UV-irradiation reduction method was used to prepare Ag-reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composites by reducing graphite oxide and silver ions in ethanol. TEM, XRD, UV-VIS spectroscopy, and XPS were used to characterise the prepared samples. The photocatalytic efficiency of Ag-RGO nanocomposites were investigated for the reduction of nitrobenzene to aniline under visible light. Therefore, Ag-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite can be used as a photocatalyst for organic synthesis.
