Abstract
In this paper, we report the characteristics of dust acoustic cnoidal waves (DACWs) due to the presence of polarization force (PF) interaction acting on dust particles in unmagnetized dusty plasma with Maxwellian distributed ions and Cairns distributed electrons. The Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is derived by using the small amplitude method and its cnoidal wave (CW) solution is analyzed. The effect of PF interaction (R) and nonthermality parameter (beta) on cnoidal structures is discussed in detail. The present investigation could be helpful in space and astrophysical plasma systems.
