Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the pharmacy student's career perceptions towards different working sectors. The study used web based cross-sectional design, included a sample of 315 students who were currently enrolled in pharmacy courses Taibah University College of Pharmacy Madina. The results showed that about 28.1% preferred to work in government sectors followed by the pharmaceutical companies 15.9%. Majority 88.2% of them agreed to work as a volunteer in government sectors. About 43.1% respondents believed that, better to obtained master or doctorate and work in academia after graduation, while 75.9% believed that working in the government sector has the financial advantage. Approximately 82.8% expected that female graduates working in community pharmacies will enhance the pharmacist-patient relationship. In conclusion study findings revealed that most of Saudi students prefer to work in government sectors and pharmaceutical companies.
