Abstract
Three new phenylpropanoid triesters, glaberins A–C (
1–
3), were isolated from the leaves and stems of
Daucus glaber (Forssk.) Thell. (Apiaceae). Their gross structures were determined on the basis of 2D NMR experiments, and the absolute structure of
1 by X-ray crystallography and chemical methods. Glaberins A (
1) and B (
2) were evaluated for cytotoxicity against P-388 murine lymphocytic leukemia cells.
