Abstract
Twenty urine samples were taken from normal male adult local camels (Camelus dromedarius). The samples were physically, biochemically and microscopically examined for determination of pH, specific gravity, chloride, phosphate, sodium thiosulphate, urea, uric acid, creatinine, Ca oxalate, triple phosphate, ammonium urate and other urinary deposits. The data of these parameters have been compared with the available literature data or other domestic animals and discussed in respect to the peculiar features of camels.
