Abstract
Seven compounds have been isolated for the first time from Amberboa ramosa namely, octadecanoic acid (1), triacontanoic acid (2), (24R)-cycloartane-3 beta,30-diol (3), cycloart-5-ene-3 beta,25-diol (4), cycloartane-3 alpha,24 beta,25-triol (5), saussureolide (6), 6,3'dihydroxy-3,5,7,4'-tetramethoxyflavone (7), respectively. Their structures have been elucidated by EIMS, HREIMS, H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopic studies.
