Abstract
This paper discusses a biography and experiments of an architect/planner professor from department of urban planning at King Saud University. It covers his teaching, research, and projects. It started when he joined the college of engineering, department of architecture at King Saud University in 1980. He graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Architecture and planning from King Saud University. In 1988 he obtained a Master of Science, Department of City Planning, Georgia Institute of Technology. In 1993-94 he obtained Doctor of Philosophy, School of Community & Regional Planning, The University of British Columbia. Then he came back to King Saud university and started his academic and professional career. He also established the Master of Real Estate Development and the Saudi Association of Real Estate Sciences in King Saud University.
