Abstract
Adverse reactions to vaccination injection sites are typically mild and transient, and post-vaccination musculoskeletal symptoms such as myalgia and arthralgia are common. Shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA), defined as shoulder pain and limited range of motion following the administration of a vaccine intended for intramuscular administration in the upper arm, is a well-known but underreported condition in the medical literature. Subacromial-subdeltoid bursitis may develop in such cases, resulting in shoulder dysfunction and ongoing pain. During the pandemic, millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to adults worldwide.
