Abstract
A potentiometric titration technique has been used to determine the stability constants for various complexes of [Pd(Ph(2)en)(H2O)(2)](2+), with some selected amino acids (L). The stepwise formation of the complexes has been established in the pH region studied. The results show the formation of 1:1 complexes with amino acids. Stoichiometries and stability constants of the complexes were determined at 37 degrees C and 0.1 mol dm(-3) NaNO3. The concentration distribution of the complexes in solution was evaluated.
