Abstract
The reported equilibrium mole fraction solubility of 4-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl)-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one (DHP-5) in some {polyethylene glycol (PEG 400 (1) + water (2)} mixtures at 298.2 K has been used to evaluate the preferential solvation of this compound by the mixture components.
