Abstract
The [Ce-2(CI)(4)(H2O)(6)(L)], [Gd-2(Cl)(4)(H2O)(6)(L)], [Nd-2(Cl)(4)(H2O)(6)(L)], [Tb-2(Cl)(4)(H2O)(6)(L)] and [Er-2(Cl)(4)(H2O)(6)(L)] which resulted from the interaction between Ce(III), Gd(III), Nd(III), Tb(III) and Er(III) ions and sodium salt of eosin yellow ligand (Na2L) were interpretative using elemental analysis (%C and %H), molar conductivity, (infrared, electronic and H-1-NMR spectra) and thernnogravimetric analysis to achieve the speculated suitable formula. The observed and calculated data of the percentage of the carbon hydrogen and metal(III) ions content are in a good agreement with each other and with the predicted structures of Ce(III), Gd(III), Nd(III), Tb(III) and Er(III) complexes.
