Abstract
Through the gregueria, Ramon Gomez de la Serna invents a new grammar that breaks the logical schemas of traditional expression, associating, juxtaposing and creating in a seemingly chaotic and irrational way a new order of communication. This new expressive form prepares the ground for avant-garde movements, makes him a precursor to the Novecento and an evident influence in regard to the construction of the new poetic image of the Generacion del 27 and their idea of modernity.
