Abstract
We study the production of the next-to-lightest CP-even Higgs state, which is not the SM-like Higgs, of the NMSSM in association with a single bottom quark bg→bh2 in the ditau decay channel at the LHC. We find that this production channel can be exploited to extract such a Higgs boson at the LHC with an integrated luminosity of 3000 fb−1. The presence of a single bottom quark in the final state with a high transverse momentum is useful to suppress the backgrounds to a manageable level.
