Abstract
Experiments were carried out to study the use of polyurethane foam, treated with 1,5-diphenylcarbazide reagent for the detection and semi-quantitative determination of chromium(VI) in aqueous solution, and the results are described with tables. The technique was found to successfully detect chromium in the presence of high concentrations of various other elements.
