Abstract
Published: 18-01-2022 The present work was conducted to study weed networks of wheat crop in village Turlandi, District Swabi Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan during 2020. A total of 38 weeds species from 20 families were identified. Data from 90 releves were collected and then analyzed through altered Two-Way Indicator Species Analysis (TWINSPAN) by utilizing the host program JUICE. Base on fidelity values five weed communities i.e., Mentha-Verbena-Brassica, Lepidium-Parthenium-Coronopus, Salvia-Galium-Leucaena, Veronica-Tripolium-Cyperus, and Phalaris-Avena-Cynodon were established. Among them, SalviaGalium-Leucaena group was the most dominant community due high-fidelity index and greater number of weeds species. The most successive species which are more than 50 % fidelity values were Lepidium sativum, Salvia plebian, Galium aperine, Parthenium hysterophorus, Leucaena leucocephala, Scandix pecten-veneris, Cannabis sativa and Torilis leptophylla.
