Abstract
The problem of field attenuation of a single mode is considered. The wave functions and the coherent states for the rotating wave approximation (RWA) and counter rotating terms (CRT) are obtained. The Bloch density matrix and the average energy value are calculated: the transition amplitude between the coherent states in RWA and CRT as well as the eigenstates are given.
