Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new reliability model called random effect additive mean residual life model. Representations of this model based on some distribution characteristics of interest in reliability and survival analysis are given. We describe the model via some illustrative examples. Finally, a number of closure properties of the model with respect to some stochastic orders, aging classes, and dependence structures are investigated.
