A rapid, convenient, and environmentally friendly protocol was developed for the synthesis of functionalized 4,4'-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazol-5-ols) via a tandem Knoevenagel-Michael reaction by condensing pyrazolone with readily available differently substituted aldehydes and catalyzed by cesium fluoride at room temperature.
