Journal of environmental biology, Vol.15(2), pp.149-149
1994

Abstract

Five commercially important fish species from Jiza, on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, were collected and analyzed for copper, mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead, and zinc in various organs (liver, kidney, gut, gills, and muscle). The highest accumulations of heavy metals were found in the liver and kidneys. The lowest levels were found in muscle.
