Abstract
The productivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. emend. Fiori & Paol.) in Maharashtra is lower than in northern states. This is mainly because of its shorter growing period in Maharashtra. Inadequate irrigation facilities and absence of appropriate fertilization further affects the crop productivity. Since information on performance of wheat under irrigation and fertilizer constraints is limited, an experiment was conducted to study its response to irrigation and fertilizer levels.
