Abstract
In this work both the atomic emission and atomic absorbtion spectroscopic techniques have been used for the determination of the metallic constituents in seventeen wells of underground water in Al-Kaseem area (Saudi Arabia), and eleven elements were detected. It is found that the major constituents elements in these resources are alkali elements, and the total transient elements constituents did not exceed 1 mg/l. Also it is found that the quantity of alkali metals existng in the wells follow the sequence Na > Ca > Mg > K.
