Entropy generation and thermal analysis for freezing process of paraffin within a duct with air turbulent flow have been scrutinized in current article. Unsteady formulation has been utilized with incorporating implicit approach and two dimension geometry has been analyzed. The paraffin (RT28) has been mixed with CuO and homogenous material creates to enhance thermal behavior. FVM approach was selected for simulation and validation regarding to empirical data indicates nice agreement. Cold air goes along the duct and gets warmer owing to freezing process. Gravity force impact has been neglected in modeling and PCM zone has laminar regime. Outcomes in term of contours for irreversibility and liquid fraction were presented in three time stages. Also, average amounts of Q, Tout and SF were reported as graphs. The minimum time for freezing happens for first suggested configuration in existence of nanoparticles. With utilizing wavy payer, nanomaterial and first configuration for air gaps, the freezing time decreases around forty four percent. For this configuration of gaps, with augment of time, irreversibility of paraffin augments about 1.44% but heat flux declines around 42.23%.
