Abstract
Mixed convective hydrodynamic flow of Reiner-Rivlin fluid by a stretching cylinder is studied. Convective conditions are addressed. Soret and Dufour characteristics are considered. Thermal relation is developed through Ohmic heating, radiation, heat generation and viscous dissipation. First chemical reaction and entropy gener-ation are considered. By using thermodynamic second law we discussed the entropy generation. Nonlinear differential system for local similar solution is computed. Outcomes of physical parameters on velocity, Nusselt number, concentration, velocity gradient, entropy rate, solutal transport rate and temperature are discussed. Temperature of fluid decays with fluid variable. Temperature boosts up against Dufour number. Entropy rate maximizes against Brinkman number and diffusion parameter. Concentration for solutal Biot number and Schmidt number is opposite. Mixed convection parameter enhances the fluid flow. An improvement in fluid flow is noticed for buoyancy ratio parameter. Reduction occurs in skin friction coefficient for curvature variable. Heat transport rate enhances through radiation parameter.
