Abstract
We present the results of intercellular stochastic synchronization in the temporal behavior in segmentation clock oscillations of a configuration of cells arranged in a regular three dimensional array, via mean field like coupling of delta protein restricting to the nearest neighbors only. The approximate numerical estimation of thermodynamic limit which signifies the transition of mesoscopic to classical regimes is done by scaling system size. Our results show the phase transition from desynchronized to synchronized behavior by identifying three regimes, namely, desynchronized, transition and synchronized regimes supported by various qualitative and quantitative measurements.
