Abstract
Manganites with Dy-0.5(Sr1-xCax)(0.5)MnO3 formula (x = 0; x = 0.05; x = 0.1; x = 0.2 and x = 0.3) were prepared via the well-known sol-gel method. They were indexed to the orthorhombic Pnma space group. Zero field cooled (ZFC) and field cooled (FC) magnetization measurements display antiferromagnetic (AFM) order among Mn spins at T-N(Mn) which decreases from around 65 K (for x = 0) to about 35 K (for x = 0.3). Dy-spins order antiferromagnetically at very low temperature for samples with x > 0. Magnetization does not saturate up to field of 5 T. AC magnetic susceptibility was checked and investigated to show the absence of spin glasses in these systems.(C) 2018 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
