Abstract

Chemistry Chemistry, Inorganic & Nuclear Chemistry, Organic Physical Sciences Science & Technology
The reactions of bis(mercaptothioformylhydrazido)phthalate (2) moiety with nitrogen, sulfur and/or halogen alpha, beta - bifunctional compounds have been studied. Structures of the products have been deduced from elemental analysis and spectral data (UV, JR, (HNMR)-H-1 & mass spectra). Most of the products showed moderate activity against some bacteria.
