Abstract
The mined complexes of Mn(II) with malonate (Mal(2-)) as primary ligand and 3,4-dichloro malonamate (DCM-) and 4-methyl malonamate (MM-) as secondary ligands have been studied polarographically at 298 K at a constant ionic strength (mu 2 M) and pH = 6. The reduction of all the systems involves a two electron irreversible diffusion controlled wave. DeFord and Hume's method has been used to determine the composition and stability constants of mixed system while that of latter by Lingane's method.
