Abstract
This paper concerns on preparing a transparent Silver Oxide (Ag2O) thin film using pulsed laser deposition technique. 1.06 μm 7 nm Nd-yag laser with two different laser flounces (47, 53) J/cm2 was used to prepare silver oxide thin films under vacuum condition. Optical, structural and surface morphology was investigated. At the optimum conditions, the optical band gap of the thin film is found to be 3.55 eV with triangle like structure of the surface morphology with 1.61 nm average surface roughness.
