Abstract
We introduce a modified asymmetric G*(psi phi)-contractive mapping with respect to a general family of functions G* and establish asymmetric type fixed point results for such mappings. As an application of our results, we deduce Suzuki type fixed point results via these mappings. We also derive certain fixed point results for asymmetric type mappings in partial G-metric spaces. Moreover, we discuss an illustrative example to highlight the realized improvements. (C)2016 All rights reserved.
