Abstract
Three coordination polymers were synthesized by solvothermal reaction of a C-3-symmetrical organic ligand and metal ions (Zn2+, Cd2+, Mn2+). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed that the compounds consist of trinuclear secondary building blocks connected by the organic linkers to form two-dimensional layers, which are packed together to form the final architectures, although they crystallized in the different space groups.
