Abstract
Some novel phosphines, aminophosphines and their oxides, and derived phosphorus acids bearing 4‐oxo‐2‐phenylquinazolin‐3‐yl moiety were synthesized. The methodology depended on the reaction of each 2‐phenylquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one (1) and 3‐amino‐2‐phenyl‐quinazolin‐4(3H)‐one (2) with (Ph)2PCl, PhPCl2, and PhP (O)Cl2 in different ratios. The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and spectral tools.
